2 Current Research Projects
I am a PhD student at Boston University and a member of the DiSC Lab, working with Dr. Manos Athanassoulis. My research focus is based on Database systems - indexing and data storage management/architechtures, and Big Data. I completed my MSc. In Computer Science from the Graduate School of Arts and Sciences @ Boston University in Dec 2020. Prior to Boston University, I was at Purdue University Fort Wayne, where I graduated with highest distinction with a Bachelor's in Computer Science. At Purdue Fort Wayne, I worked with Dr. Zesheng Chen on my senior capstone project, and with Dr. Jin Soung Yoo on a couple of minor research projects (focused on Big Data).

Hashing at every level presents a significant bottleneck in bloom filters. Here, we aim to reduce the extensive hash calculation and modify bloom filters to increase query performance.

"Spotify with Lyrics" - utilizes Spotify's Android SDK and Web API to sync. with Spotify on Android phones to retrieve lyrics for current track, and sentiment + feature analysis for track recommendations and ambient background in the app.

Binary and Multi-class classification of X-ray images to identify clusters differentiating COVID-19, Normal and Pneumonia using deep neural network models like VGG16, VGG19, ResNet50 and InceptionResnetV2.
Explores clustering and experimenting with high dimensional data of 4,803 movies using K-Means and K-Means++ clustering algorithms.
Prediction of citation links between DBLP papers, where papers from the website are the nodes of a directed graph.
